Bold in its geometry yet refined in its execution, the Octagon Super Nova Ring explores the relationship between structure, proportion and light. Inspired by architectural framing and layered construction, the design places an emerald-cut diamond within a octagonal halo, creating depth while drawing the eye towards the centre of the composition.

At its heart sits a beautifully cut emerald-cut diamond, selected for its exceptional clarity and elegant step facets. Unlike brilliant-cut diamonds, emerald cuts produce broad flashes of light through long parallel facets, creating a distinctive hall-of-mirrors effect that celebrates precision, symmetry and the purity of the crystal itself. Every movement reveals a new sequence of geometric reflections, giving the diamond a quiet confidence rather than overt sparkle.

The diamond is suspended within an octagonal frame and bezel, carefully proportioned to echo the shape of the stone while creating layers of negative space. This interplay of solid metal and open form gives the ring a sculptural quality, allowing light to pass through the setting and emphasising its architectural silhouette from every angle.

A refined split band supports the setting, balancing its bold geometry with an elegant lightness on the hand. Handcrafted in recycled 18ct yellow gold and finished with a soft satin texture, the warm gold provides a beautiful contrast to the crisp, mirror-like reflections of the diamond, highlighting both the richness of the metal and the exceptional whiteness of the stone.

Every piece is handmade by us in our London studio using traditional goldsmithing techniques.

We use certified recycled gold as standard. Our refiners use closed loop processing and are regulated by the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Gemstones are sourced through our trusted and accredited partners. Where full traceability is available it will be listed in the product description.

All diamonds are ‘conflict-free’ and our suppliers adhere to the Kimberley Process.

Exterior packaging and filling is fully recyclable.

As we make everything from scratch almost every element of a piece can be adjusted or customised.

Rings and bands can be made to any width, depth or shape/profile. All pieces can be made in 18ct yellow, white and rose gold (unless OOAK). Platinum and palladium is only available in solid bands 3mm and above.

There are three options of finishes on our jewellery; heavily textured, soft satin and highly polished. Please get in touch if you'd like a different finish applied, depending on the complexity of the piece there maybe an additional charge.

We can source alternative gemstones in different colours or cuts (shapes).

White diamonds are available in a variety of varying qualities and we are able to collate a few options to choose from if required.

If you are looking for a certified ethical or more environmentally friendly option then we can offer fully traceable diamonds and sapphires, but bear in mind there will be more limited options.
