Named for its organic profile, the Nephros Band takes its form from the gentle curve of a kidney bean, nephros being the Greek word for kidney. Its rounded interior ensures a comfortable fit, while the minimalist sculptural design is defined by two softly contoured edges. Part of our Convex collection, this band celebrates the carved details of ancient architecture and the flowing grooves found in finely turned objects.

Measuring 3.1mm in width and 1.8mm in depth, the Nephros Band offers a balanced, elegant presence on the finger. Finished in a high mirror polish, it reflects light beautifully, echoing the smooth gloss of polished marble and highlighting its subtle ribbed detail. It can also be paired with other Convex bands to create an extended, undulating silhouette along the finger.

Crafted in certified 14ct yellow gold, its gentle, refined hue complements all skin tones. Designed for all genders, the Nephros Band can be worn alone, chosen as a wedding or commitment ring, or integrated into a personal stacking combination.

Every piece is handmade by us in our London studio using traditional goldsmithing techniques.

We use certified recycled gold as standard. Our refiners use closed loop processing and are regulated by the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Gemstones are sourced through our trusted and accredited partners. Where full traceability is available it will be listed in the product description.

All diamonds are ‘conflict-free’ and our suppliers adhere to the Kimberley Process.

Exterior packaging and filling is fully recyclable.

As we make everything from scratch almost every element of a piece can be adjusted or customised.

Rings and bands can be made to any width, depth or shape/profile. All pieces can be made in 18ct yellow, white and rose gold (unless OOAK). Platinum and palladium is only available in solid bands 3mm and above.

There are three options of finishes on our jewellery; heavily textured, soft satin and highly polished. Please get in touch if you'd like a different finish applied, depending on the complexity of the piece there maybe an additional charge.

We can source alternative gemstones in different colours or cuts (shapes).

White diamonds are available in a variety of varying qualities and we are able to collate a few options to choose from if required.

If you are looking for a certified ethical or more environmentally friendly option then we can offer fully traceable diamonds and sapphires, but bear in mind there will be more limited options.
