Architectural in its composition and refined in every detail, the Step Parallel Ring is a contemporary interpretation of the classic emerald-cut diamond ring. Its strong linear geometry is softened by hand craftsmanship, creating a piece that feels both sculptural and effortless.

At its centre sits a beautifully proportioned 1ct emerald-cut diamond, chosen for its exceptional clarity and elegant step-cut facets. Unlike brilliant-cut diamonds, emerald cuts are prized for their broad, mirror-like reflections. Their long, parallel facets create a mesmerising hall-of-mirrors effect, revealing the diamond's internal purity and rewarding exceptional colour and clarity.

The diamond is held within our line-end setting, where clean horizontal bars frame the stone without overpowering it. The result is a setting that feels structural and balanced, allowing the crisp geometry of the emerald cut to remain the focal point.

The design continues into a distinctive split 18ct yellow gold band, handcrafted with a heavily textured finish that contrasts beautifully against the bright reflections of the diamond. Four flush-set white diamonds are symmetrically positioned across the parallel bands, introducing subtle points of light while reinforcing the ring's linear rhythm. The warm richness of 18ct gold enhances the crisp whiteness of the central diamond, creating a striking balance between softness and precision.

Every ring is individually handmade in our London workshop using recycled 18ct gold, with each surface carefully finished by hand. The Step Parallel Ring is a celebration of proportion, construction and material, designed to be admired from every angle and made to be worn for a lifetime.

Every piece is handmade by us in our London studio using traditional goldsmithing techniques.

We use certified recycled gold as standard. Our refiners use closed loop processing and are regulated by the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Gemstones are sourced through our trusted and accredited partners. Where full traceability is available it will be listed in the product description.

All diamonds are ‘conflict-free’ and our suppliers adhere to the Kimberley Process.

Exterior packaging and filling is fully recyclable.

As we make everything from scratch almost every element of a piece can be adjusted or customised.

Rings and bands can be made to any width, depth or shape/profile. All pieces can be made in 18ct yellow, white and rose gold (unless OOAK). Platinum and palladium is only available in solid bands 3mm and above.

There are three options of finishes on our jewellery; heavily textured, soft satin and highly polished. Please get in touch if you'd like a different finish applied, depending on the complexity of the piece there maybe an additional charge.

We can source alternative gemstones in different colours or cuts (shapes).

White diamonds are available in a variety of varying qualities and we are able to collate a few options to choose from if required.

If you are looking for a certified ethical or more environmentally friendly option then we can offer fully traceable diamonds and sapphires, but bear in mind there will be more limited options.
